We decided to spend a day at the Kennedy Space Center where all the rockets are launched from the Apollo era until now.

The Atlantis space shuttle was ready to launch the next that after we were there.
A used engine of the Space Shuttle with Ellie standing below it..

This Vehicle Assembly Building is the tallest and biggest single story structure in the world with 525 feet tall and covers 8 acres of area. It serves to assemble the Saturn V moon rockets and now to support space shuttle. It has the single biggest garage door in the world...

This is the Saturn V rocket which takes Apollo 11 till Apollo 17 to the moon, from 1969 to 1972..

The Space Shuttle exhibit with a very real looking space shuttle discovery. The real one is still operational..

we then went to the Rocket Yard with all the historical American rockets, and encounter a true local on the way back. There were a few movies and rides available but we did not have time to see them.
